Peneda-Gerês National Park Adventure Tour

Arrival to Porto airport and transfer to Ponte da Barca to Lima Escape Glamping Experience (sleep in a tent or bungalow).

In the morning, pick-up for a Canyoning activity. Canyoning is a nature and adventure experience that will allow you to discover wonderful landscapes and hidden waterfalls in the heart of Peneda Gerês National Park. Professional guides will always be with you so you can have a unique experience (difficulty level: easy). Transfer back to the accommodation around 5:00 pm.

In the morning, pick-up for the E-Bike Guided Tour - from Soajo to Serra Amarela, passing by Senhora da Peneda, Lamas de Mouro and Castro Laboreiro. This is a route of great scenic beauty that will allow you to discover the oldest and most historic villages, the dams and viewpoints with incredible landscapes, as well as the enchanted forests, so characteristic of the Peneda - Gerês National Park. This route is of approximately 45km (+1100 m), between tarred roads, portuguese pavement, forest roads and ecovias (difficulty level: Medium). Transfer back to the hotel around 05:00pm.

In the morning, pick-up towards Soajo, one of the most typical and picturesque villages in the Peneda-Gerês Park for a River Trekking experience (5km, 4H). River Trekking is an aquatic trek, exploring the natural beauty of the rivers of Peneda-Gerês National Park. This adventure does not use any ropes technique, just dives, jumps and walks between lagoons, rocks and paths, along the Adrão river (experience possible from July to September). After the river trekking, lunch in a typical restaurant.

Free afternoon and our proposal is that you venture into a SUP activity at the Peneda-Gerês Adventure Center. The activity is carried out on the calm waters of the Lima River.

In the remaining months of the year, when river trekking is not possible, our proposal will be another day of E-Bike Tour Campo do Gerês - Soajo (passing through Portela do Homem) - 52 Kms.

Sleep at Casa do Afonso, in Brufe.

Today you will bake a typical portuguese bread made from corn (Broa). After your preparation, you will taste this ancient bread :)

The adventure continues with a small drive through the majestic forests – one of the European Network of Biogenetic Reserves – and on a roman road along the Vilarinho da Furnas lakeside.

This day is indeed a complete experience of the History, Culinary, Culture and Nature of Gerês.

Dinner at Restaurant Abocanhado. Sleep at Casa do Afonso.

Meet the authentic North of Portugal with this experience. The main focus will be the walk with a shepherd and his herd of goats or sheeps and dogs, allowing you to discover the territory and at a pace that is dictated by the animals. The sheperd will share what he knows and answer questions through the guide, translating if necessary. This activity contributes to the good management of the mountains and forests: it keeps the paths clean, some invasive species are eaten by the goats and prevents the spread of fires, while guaranteeing income for the local population.

After this great walk, you will have lunch at a local restaurant with traditional dishes, and in the afternoon, you will explore the mountain by jeep.

In the morning, transfer to Porto. Free afternoon to explore the magnificent city of Porto.
