Portugal is a lovely country to visit with children, as distances are short, the people are extremely kind and welcoming and there are plenty of activities to do with kids!
We have arranged the perfect getaway for your family vacation in Portugal. The region will be the Douro and North of Portugal, with its beautiful vineyards slopes, the local hospitality and the excelent food, that will conquer all family (from kids to adults).
The accommodation will be the cosy and charming Solar Egas Moniz in Penafiel, where you enter as a guest and leave as a friend.
So the invitation is for you to spend 3 nights at this family friendly hotel in the North of Portugal (20 minutes from Porto), including a typical Portuguese family dinner for 4 (2 adults and 2 children up to 12) and also a family activity to choose from: horse riding, surf, thermal swimming pool or Magikland park.
We will also be delighted to give you the best suggestions for your spare time in the region which may include a trip to Porto, a boat trip along the Douro River, visit cities like Guimarães or Ponte de Lima, etc…
Whether you will be for a longer period in Portugal or just the 4 days, this program is ideal for a well spent family time!
So here is how it works:
This tour is self-drive so it is up to you to decide your date of departure, we will be here!
The company providing the car rental service is Europcar. The car is a Seat Ibiza with A/C or similar. The car is rented for 3 or 5 days (pick up and drop off at Porto).
The total price of the program for 3 nights is from 1400€ for two adults and 2 children (up to 12 years old) on a family room. Special seasons, single and solo traveller supplements applies.
- 3 nights’ accommodation with breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children in a family room;
- Car hire for 3 days, arranged through Europcar (pick up and drop off at Porto airport);
- A dinner for 2 adults and 2 children (drinks are not included);
- One family activity to be chosen upon your interests (horse riding, surf lesson, thermal swimming pool or Magikland park).
