This is a project shared by two couples: André Sardet and Catarina Mesquita Dutra and José Manuel Portugal and Maria Israel Portugal. With areas as diverse as music, engineering, journalism and teaching, they shared the same challenge of restoring three interconnected buildings with architecturally distinctive features and transforming them into a personalized hotel. With a lot of decoration on the basis of the books, once we are in a privileged area at the level of knowledge, this project also wanted to incorporate the wine and so every day at 6 pm, when the university bell rings, guests know that it is the wine time

• Visit the ruins of Conimbriga, a former Roman center of the 9th century;
• Do not miss the à Capella for a true fado experience in Coimbra.

From Lisbon, head towards Coimbra on the A1. Then take the A31 towards the city center, you will find a roundabout, get off at the second exit.

Cross the bridge that crosses the Mondego River and turn right, at the next roundabout, turn right and go straight ahead. Turn right next and follow the signs for the University of Coimbra, you will find us in front of the Biblioteca Joanina and the Stairs of Minerva.

Check-in is from 2 pm, and check-out is until 12 noon.

Cancellation policy: Up to 7 days before date of arrival, without any penalty. Cancellations after this date or in case of no-show have a penalty in the total amount of the stay.

Sapientia Boutique Hotel does not accept pets. Smoking is prohibited and there are no handicapped accesses.
