Located in Amares, between Braga and the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Casa Lata is a 3.6-hectare rural property that blends history, tradition, and modernity. Once a traditional Minho farmhouse, it retains iconic features such as the granary, the wine press, and the alembic, all living symbols of a rich agricultural heritage. Today, these spaces have been tastefully transformed into a bar and game room, where the guests can still admire the old stone wine press.
Casa Lata is also home to the award-winning Terras de Amares wines, produced in the property’s modern winery using native grape varieties from the Vinho Verde region, situated between the Cávado and Homem rivers.
The accommodation includes 13 comfortable rooms in the main house, complete with breakfast and a welcome drink, as well as a two-bedroom villa with a private pool, ideal for families or larger groups. From Porto Airport, take the A28 towards Braga. Continue on the A28 until exit 11 (Amares/Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês). At the roundabout, follow the N201 towards Amares. Continue on the N201 until Carrazedo and look for Travessa de Barriomau 158.

Reservations and Cancellation:
After making the reservation, 50% of the total amount will be charged, non-refundable. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, you must send proof of payment by email and wait for confirmations from the hotel. If you wish to pay by credit card, you must send your details at the time of payment. The 50% is paid at check-out. In case of data exchange (according to Casa Lata availability) a voucher valid for 1 year will be created.
