Adega do Fogo is located in Santa Luzia, in the landscape of the Pico Island Vineyard Culture, World Heritage (UNESCO), with privileged views to the highest point in Portugal and a stone's throw from the sea.
Resulting from the restoration of an old distillery and its manor house, built about 200 years ago, this house is the perfect stop for those who want to discover or revisit the Azorean island and its traditions, its flavours and its history.
All rooms have access to the old balcony at the front of the main building, from where you enjoy a magnificent sea view. Across the dining room you can see the factory. It labours from November to February, and is open to the local community so that everyone, just like 100 years ago, can come and "burn" their fruit and produce aguardente.
The heated swimming pool allows delicious private baths, especially pleasant after returning from an invigorating sea bath or a session in the sauna.
A true "Pico immersion", respecting the history, flavours and traditions of the island.
