Just 3 kilometres away from the Quinta is the medieval town of Marvão, on its rocky escarpment at an altitude of over 800 m, which is of stunning beauty and has a historical legacy of incomparable value. It is from the 2 charming rooms and cottage that we send you this invitation to wake up to the sound of sheep walking on the Roman road, which leads to Marvão along signposted paths.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the romantic atmosphere of the granite arcades in the stillness of the Alentejo porch and prepare yourself for moments of relaxation or adventure.
In the town, you can walk the medieval streets and visit the castle; outside the city walls, you can explore old Roman roads, on foot or on horseback, and watch the birds in their natural habitat.
