Marta and André will be your hosts at this house. In 2019 the couple decided to put their hands into work and with a common passion for hospitality and experience in this field of work, they built this charming country house, TheVagar.

Experience a jeep ride, an ice or aromatic bath, a picnic in the mountain or a yoga class. Enjoy a sunset next to the fire pit and have a tasting of regional cheeses.

Explore Belmonte’s village, one of the Historical Villages of Portugal and find out its history or walk the various trails through the Serra. Don’t forget to taste the local gastronomy like the braised lamb and “papas de carolo” a traditional dessert.

From Porto airport, follow the VRI in Custóias and then go along A4, A24, A25 and A23/IP2 to Rua da Amoreira in Castelo Branco. Follow exit number 33 on A23/IP2 and then continue through the national road 345, until reaching your destination.

Check-in between 3 pm and 10 pm and check-out until 12 pm.

Reservations and Cancellation:

If the cancellation or change of the reservation occurs up to 7 days from the date of booking, there will be no penalty and the total amount of the reservation will be refunded. If the cancellation or change of the reservation occurs on the 7th day or 7 days prior to the date of booking, the total amount of the reservation will be lost. If the cancellation occurs during the stay or in the case of a no-show, the customer will be charged the full amount of the stay.
