Managed by Isabel & Francisco Muñoz, Vigias began as a family home and, in 2012, became a refuge for travelers. Today, it consists of five exclusive family houses, nestled in nature, offering a space to create lasting connections.
Explore the private trails of the property, with three panoramic lookouts, or follow the Carreiras route that connect the property to Castelo de Vide via a Roman path. If you're feeling more adventurous, rent bikes from Unicorn Mobility and discover the Natural Park sustainably, visiting dolmens, waterfalls, villages, and castles. You can also enjoy a practical class to make conventional sweets or regional dishes, take a hot air balloon ride, or enjoy wine tastings at the local wineries.
From Lisbon, cross the river and take A2 towards Évora. Exit onto A6, heading to Estremoz/Portalegre. Before Estremoz, take the road to Portalegre, then follow IP2 to Portalegre. Exit for Castelo de Vide, turn right to Carreiras. In Carreiras, turn right towards Marvão, and after 1 km, find a sloping road on the left leading to Vigias. If missed, turn back at Alvarrões.
