Between the forest and the Ocean, a place to feel calmness
Quinta Vale da Roca lies on a hillside south of Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. The forest landscape surrounds the Quinta and the vineyard that exists there stands out. The view of the ocean and Guincho beach give the feeling of calmness and the proximity to Sintra and its romanticism invite for a visit to some of the most beautiful palaces in Portugal.
The farm is distributed in 7 rooms, 2 in an old farmhouse and the rest in the main house. Due to its proximity to Sintra, Colares wine cellars are located very close to each other, as are the Queijadas and Travesseiros' houses, typical of this region.
Margarida and Ricardo are architects and the owners of Quinta Vale da Roca, responsible for their rehabilitation. They have done an architectural job, restoring the space, having also planted a vineyard and hope to soon be able to open their winery to provide local experiences.
Visit the main points of interest that surround Quinta Vale da Roca, namely Cabo da Roca and Cascais, the village of Sintra and its palaces, as well as playing golf in one of the various fields located in the surrounding area.
From Lisbon airport take the 2nd ring road towards the IC19 Sintra, exit at the A5 Cascais exit. Take exit 12 to converge with Malveira da Serra / N9-1 road towards Malveira / Aldeia Juso. On the road to Malveira follow the direction of Rua dos Moinhos where you will find Quinta Vale da Roca.
