Paulo wanted to fulfill his parents’ life dream. They were born in the genuine Alentejo and did not come back to its origin, after a life in Coimbra. So, Paulo and Isabel found in Torre de Palma the perfect location for this new project and this homage: a place of work, which produces wine, olive oil and breed horses, adding the possibility for the guest to stay in a house with many years of history. Thus, Torre de Palma Wine Hotel was created, in which was achieved a unique work of recovery of some of Maria Teresa Barradas’s pieces (Paulo’s mother).

Torre de Palma is 2 hours away from Lisbon Airport. At a 10 minute drive is Monforte and at a 30 minute drive is Castelo de Campo Maior. Portalegre is a 40 minute away drive from the property. Just 1 hour away is Évora, whose historic center was declared World Heritage by UNESCO.

Take the A2 and A6 to the IP2 in Estremoz; Take exit 7 on the A6 (165 km); Continue on the IP2 to your destination in Portalegre (37.3 km); Converge with IP2 motorway Partial toll (2.5 km); Converge with IP2 / N4 via ramp to Spain / Estremoz (400 m); Turn left towards IP2; Go through 1 roundabout (1.3 km); Turn left towards E802 / IP2; Pass 4 roundabouts (27.5 km); Take the N369 exit toward Alter / Monforte (140 m); At the roundabout take the 3rd exit to N369; Go through 1 roundabout (3.6 km); Turn left (1.8 km); Slight right

• Reservations: Check-in is from 2p.m. and check-out is until midday.
• Reservations must be cancelled or modified 7 to 3 days prior to arrival day by, to avoid a fee of 50% of the full stay 
• Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card which is valid on the day of arrival
• No-show or cancellations less than 24 hours before check-in date require full payment of the reservation.
• Torre de Palma Wine Hotel does not accept animals.
